Rideshare Service Addendum

Effective Date: July 1, 2026
This Rideshare Service Addendum (the "Rideshare Addendum") supplements and is incorporated into the IntoDash Terms and Conditions (the "General Terms"). By requesting or taking a rideshare trip through the IntoDash platform, you agree to be bound by this Rideshare Addendum in addition to the General Terms. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Addendum have the meanings given in the General Terms.

1. Scope and Relationship to the General Terms

This Rideshare Addendum applies to all rideshare trips requested or taken through the IntoDash platform. It supplements the General Terms and Conditions, which continue to apply in full. In the event of a conflict between this Addendum and the General Terms, the provisions of this Addendum govern with respect to rideshare trips.
Each section of these General Terms remains applicable unless expressly modified by this Addendum. If any provision of this Addendum is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities

To request rideshare trips through IntoDash, you must:
  • a) Hold a valid IntoDash account in good standing;
  • b) Be at least 18 years of age, or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction;
  • c) Maintain accurate personal and payment information on your account at all times.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account credentials with any other person. IntoDash reserves the right to verify eligibility and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.

3. Requesting and Confirming a Ride

When you submit a ride request through the IntoDash app:
  • a) The app will display an estimated fare, applicable charges, and an estimated driver arrival time before you confirm the request;
  • b) Confirming the request constitutes your agreement to pay the applicable fare and all displayed charges;
  • c) A driver who accepts your request will be identified in the app by name and vehicle information, along with their estimated time of arrival;
  • d) You may track your driver's progress in real time within the app until the driver arrives.
IntoDash does not guarantee that a driver will accept any given request. Ride requests are subject to driver availability in your area at the time of the request.

4. Fares, Fees, Taxes, Tolls, and Payment Authorization

  • 4.1 Fare Calculation

    Fares are calculated based on factors that may include a base fare, distance, elapsed time, demand conditions, and any other charges shown in the app at the time of your request. All applicable fees, surcharges, tolls, and taxes will be displayed in the app and charged to the payment method you have on file.
  • 4.2 Payment Authorization Hold

    A temporary authorization hold may be placed on your payment method at the time your ride request is confirmed. The hold will be released or converted to a charge reflecting the final fare when the trip is complete.
  • 4.3 Tips

    Tips are optional and may be added through the app after a trip is completed. Tips are remitted in full to the driver and are not retained by IntoDash.

5. Estimated Pricing and Final Fare Adjustments

The fare shown before you confirm a ride is an estimate based on the requested origin, destination, and current conditions. The final fare may differ if:
  • a) The actual route taken or distance travelled differs from the estimate;
  • b) The trip duration differs from the estimate due to traffic, road conditions, or other factors;
  • c) Additional stops are added during the trip;
  • d) Pricing conditions change between the time of request and trip completion.
The final fare charged will reflect the amounts displayed in the app after the trip concludes. A receipt will be made available to you through the app.

6. Cancellations and No-Shows

  • 6.1 Rider Cancellations

    You may cancel a confirmed ride request at any time. However, cancellations made after a driver has accepted your request may result in a cancellation charge. Applicable cancellation charges are shown in the app at the time of the request and may be updated from time to time.
  • 6.2 No-Shows

    If you are not present at the designated pickup location within the wait time shown in the app, the driver may mark the trip as a no-show. A no-show charge may apply in accordance with the rates displayed in the app.

7. Scheduled Rides

  • 7.1 Advance Booking

    You may schedule a ride up to 5 days in advance. The scheduled pickup time must be at least 90 minutes from the time the booking is made.
  • 7.2 Free Cancellation Window

    You may cancel a scheduled ride without charge up to 1 hour before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made within 1 hour of the scheduled pickup time may be subject to a scheduled cancellation charge as shown in the app at the time of booking.
  • 7.3 Standard and Scheduled Charges

    Standard cancellation charges and scheduled cancellation charges may differ. The applicable charges for your trip will be displayed in the app before you confirm the booking.

8. Pickup, Stops, and Destination Responsibilities

  • 8.1 Accurate Information

    You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and destination information. IntoDash is not responsible for delays, missed pickups, or additional charges resulting from inaccurate location information that you provide.
  • 8.2 Stops

    Policies and applicable charges for adding stops during a trip are shown in the app. Adding stops may result in an adjusted fare.
  • 8.3 Wait Time

    Drivers are permitted a wait time at your pickup location as shown in the app. Additional wait-time charges may apply in accordance with the rates displayed in the app.

9. Rider Conduct

While using the rideshare service, you agree to:
  • a) Treat the driver and their vehicle with respect and courtesy;
  • b) Not engage in any illegal activity or carry prohibited items;
  • c) Not consume food, beverages, or alcohol in the vehicle without the driver's express permission;
  • d) Wear a seatbelt for the duration of the trip as required by applicable law;
  • e) Not physically or verbally abuse, threaten, or harass a driver.
Violations of this section may result in trip cancellation, cleaning or damage charges, account suspension, or permanent account termination. IntoDash reserves the right to share information about conduct violations with law enforcement where required by law or to protect user safety.

10. Minors and Child Restraint Responsibilities

  • 10.1 Age Requirement

    Riders under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 18 years of age for the duration of the trip.
  • 10.2 Child Restraint

    You are solely responsible for providing, installing, and ensuring the proper use of any child restraint seat or booster seat required by applicable law for minors travelling with you. Drivers are not required to provide or install child restraint equipment, and IntoDash does not supply such equipment.

11. Accessibility, Service Animals, and Accommodations

  • 11.1 Service Animals

    Drivers are required to accommodate riders travelling with service animals in accordance with applicable law. A driver's refusal to transport a service animal is a violation of IntoDash's driver requirements and may result in account action.
  • 11.2 Accessibility Needs

    If you require accessibility accommodations, you may indicate your needs through the app before or during a ride request, or by contacting IntoDash at support@intodash.com. IntoDash will make reasonable efforts to accommodate accessibility needs subject to driver and vehicle availability.

12. Personal Belongings and Lost Property

You are responsible for your personal belongings during and after each trip. IntoDash is not responsible for items left in a driver's vehicle. If you believe you have left an item in a vehicle, you may contact IntoDash through the app or at support@intodash.com to request assistance arranging its return. Recovery of lost items is not guaranteed. IntoDash may charge an administrative fee for facilitating the return of lost property, as shown in the app.

13. Safety Incidents, Complaints, and Emergencies

  • 13.1 Emergencies

    In an emergency, contact local emergency services by calling 911. Do not rely solely on the IntoDash app during an emergency.
  • 13.2 Reporting

    Safety incidents, complaints, or concerns about a trip may be reported through the app immediately after the trip concludes, or at any time by contacting IntoDash at support@intodash.com. IntoDash will review all reports and may take action on driver or rider accounts where safety concerns are substantiated.

14. Driver and Vehicle Relationship to IntoDash

  • 14.1 Independent Contractors

    Drivers who accept trips through IntoDash are independent contractors. They are not employees, agents, or partners of IntoDash. IntoDash does not control the means or manner by which drivers perform transportation services, except as required to maintain platform standards and applicable regulatory compliance.
  • 14.2 Vehicle Standards

    Drivers are required to maintain vehicles that meet IntoDash's vehicle requirements, which may be updated from time to time. Specific vehicle details, including make, model, and licence plate, are shown in the app after a driver accepts your ride request.

15. Ratings, Feedback, and Account Restrictions

  • 15.1 Mutual Ratings

    After each completed trip, you may rate the driver and provide feedback through the app. Drivers may also rate riders. Ratings are used to maintain service quality for all users of the platform.
  • 15.2 Account Restrictions

    Consistently low rider ratings or patterns of conduct reported by multiple drivers may result in restrictions on your account, including temporary suspension or permanent termination. IntoDash reserves the right to review ratings and feedback and to take appropriate action in accordance with the General Terms.

16. Refunds, Disputes, and Adjustments

If you believe your fare was incorrectly calculated, you may submit a fare dispute through the app or by contacting support@intodash.com. IntoDash will review disputes and may issue a fare adjustment at its sole discretion. No specific refund amounts or outcomes are guaranteed. Adjustments are subject to IntoDash's dispute resolution policies as described in the General Terms.

17. Service Availability and Interruptions

IntoDash does not guarantee that the rideshare service will be available at any particular time, in any particular location, or for any particular trip request. Service may be affected by driver availability, technical issues, weather conditions, or other factors beyond IntoDash's control. IntoDash will not be liable for losses or damages arising from service unavailability or interruptions.

18. Relationship to the General Terms

This Rideshare Addendum supplements the General Terms and Conditions, which continue to apply in full to your use of the IntoDash platform. Nothing in this Addendum limits or modifies the provisions of the General Terms except as expressly stated. All sections of the General Terms — including those governing payments, dispute resolution, data privacy, indemnification, disclaimers, and governing law — apply to your use of the rideshare service.

19. Changes to this Addendum

IntoDash may update this Rideshare Addendum at any time. Updated versions will be posted to this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the rideshare service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Addendum. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
